Warsaw, Mark Borisovich

Mark Borisovich Warsaw (born March 11, 1947 , Moscow ) is a Soviet theater and film actor, since 1979 he has been in administrative work. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation ( 2001 ), Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation ( 1993 ), director of the Lenkom Theater .

Biography

Born in Moscow on March 11, 1947.

  • 1969 - graduated from the Gorky Theater School ; course master: V.C. Falconers.
  • 1972 - 1979 - worked in the Moscow Regional Drama Theater , where he played leading roles.
  • 1979 - began working as chief administrator at the Moscow Lenkom Theater .
    At the same time, combining this position with training, he graduated in 1986 from the RATI ( GITIS ), Department of Economics and Theater Organization. Specialty: economist-theater expert.
    • In the same year he was appointed to the position of managing director.

Mark Borisovich Warsawer was at the head of Lenkom's legendary projects: “Memorial Prayer”, “Jester Balakirev”, “Barbarian and Heretic”, “Sage”, “Crazy Day, or the Marriage of Figaro”, “The Executioner's Cry”, “All-in”, “Tartuffe”, “Cherry Orchard”, “Marriage”, “Taming of tamers”, “Tout paye, or Everything is paid”, “Flying over the cuckoo's nest” (“Eclipse”) and many others [1] .
