History
The village was founded at the beginning of the 17th century by the peasants Fedka Shchapov and Vaska Bochkarem [4] .
Geography
The settlement is located on the left bank of the Tura River, 34 kilometers southeast of the administrative center of the district - the city of Verkhoturye [4] .
