Geography
Hook village of the municipality " Shali urban district " is located 46 kilometers north-west of the village of Shalya (53 km along the highway), in a wooded area, on the left bank of the Bolshoi Kryuk river (right tributary of the Sylva river), above the mouth of the left tributary of the river Porosovka [2] .
Nativity of the Bogoroditskaya Church
In 1892, a wooden, monastery church was built and consecrated in honor of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos. The church was closed in the 1930s [2] .
