Biography
Early biography
Born November 4, 1959. He graduated from the Izhevsk Agricultural Institute, majoring in "mechanization of agriculture" [2] .
In 1978, drafted into the ranks of the Red Army. Demobilized in 1980 [3] .
1980 he moved to the Yukamensky district of Udmurtia, where he works on the Tractor collective farm. He went from mechanics to the head of a collective farm [3] .
Political Activities
In 1998, he was appointed head of the Yukamensky district of the Udmurt Republic [3] [2] . After two years of successful work as the head of the district, he was appointed Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Udmurt Republic [2] . At the same time he was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. In 2002, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Government of Udmurtia [1] , while remaining in the position of Minister of Agriculture. In 2007, he was appointed Chairman of the Commission of the State Council of the Udmurt Republic on the agro-industrial complex, land relations, nature management and environmental protection [1] . In 2008, he was elected as a deputy of the State Council of the Udmurt Republic of the 4th convocation [3] , was appointed deputy chairman and chairman of the standing commission on agriculture, land relations, nature management and environmental protection [1] . In 2012, re-elected for a new term, remained deputy chairman for the same profile [2] . On June 25, 2013 he was elected Chairman of the State Council of the Udmurt Republic [4] [5] .
