Love and Lies ( Jap. 恋 と 嘘 Coyo Uso , “Love and Lies”) is a Japanese manga written by Musao Tsumugi. It has been published by Manga Box since September 2014. Based on the manga anime series was announced.

Story
In the future, the “Yukari law” was introduced to raise the birth rate in Japan. According to this law, the government analyzes the DNA of children and selects their ideal partners. About who exactly is chosen as a partner. teenagers will find out when they turn sixteen. Nejima's main character is in love with his classmate Takasaki and decides to confess his love to her before the government imposes on him a partner chosen on the basis of DNA. As it turns out, Nejima's feelings are mutual, but according to the government, he should marry a girlfriend, who is completely unfamiliar to him, Lilina. Lilina herself is not very interested in a relationship with a stranger, but is delighted with the feelings between Nejima and Takasaki. Therefore, it helps them get closer to each other. What happens to people if love in this world is officially banned?
Characters
Yukari Nejima ( Jap. 根 島 由 佳 吏 Nejima Yukari ) - the main character. From junior school he was in love with Takasaki, but until his sixteenth birthday he kept his feelings secret and only at the beginning of the plot he decided to confess to Takasaki love. Although Misaki does not intend to develop a relationship with Nejima, Nejima himself still does not lose hope.
Misaki Takadzaki ( Jap. 美 美 咲 Takasaki Misaki ) - Nejima's classmate who has fallen in love with him since elementary school and how he hid her feelings. Despite his feelings for Nejima, Takasaki prefers not to go against the government’s decision and leave his love only as a pleasant memory of the past.
Lilina Sanada ( j . 真 田 莉 々 奈 Sanada Ryrina ) is a bride chosen for Yukari by the government. The school has excellent grades, but often missed the school due to illness and as a result was never able to make friends. In addition, Lilina does not like classmates because of the habit of discussing people behind their backs, and those in turn treat the girl as an ass. Nezima and Takasaki's feelings arouse Lilina’s admiration, so she helps them get closer to each other.
Yusuke Nisaka ( Jap. 仁 坂 悠 介 Nisaka Yu: Suke ) is Yukari's best friend, surrounded by mystery. Very popular among girls, behaves indifferently, but constantly helps Nejima and gives useful advice. He in turn suspects that Nisak likes Takasaki. In fact, Nishak likes Nejima.
