Biography

Born in 1915 into a peasant family in the village of Serebrennikovo. Since 1929 he worked as a laborer on a local collective farm. After graduating from the school of peasant youth, he was the secretary of the Komsomol cell in Serebrennikovo. He served in the Red Army, after which he worked as head of the procurement office. He was elected chairman of the collective farm “At an accelerated pace” of the Maslyaninsky district and in 1942 - chairman of the collective farm “Flax” of the Maslyani district.

He brought the collective farm “Flax guide” to the number of leading agricultural enterprises in the Novosibirsk Region, for which in 1946 he was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. In 1948, the collective farm handed over to the state an average of 6.33 centners of fiber flax fiber and 7 centners of seeds per hectare and received an income of about two million rubles [1] . By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 20, 1949 for obtaining high yields of fiber and seeds of long flax when the collective farm compulsory supplies and contracting for all types of agricultural products, in kind payment for the operation of the MTS in 1948 and the provision of seeds of all crops in the amount of the total demand for in the spring of 1949 he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the awarding of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Hammer and Sickle Medal.

Repeatedly participated in the All-Union Exhibition of VDNH in Moscow.

He led the collective farm until 1972. In 1978, retired. He lived in the village of Maslyanino, Novosibirsk Region, where he died in 1993.
