Twicecoaster: Lane 2

January 18, 2017 there was information about the release of a special album of the group after their concert in Seoul . In early February, the release of Twicecoaster: Lane 1 was announced, dubbed Twicecoaster: Lane 2 , which will be released on February 20, and a new single, “Knock Knock”, will be released in support of ^{[1] [2]} .

On February 12, a track list was published. It consisted of 13 songs: seven from the original release, two new songs, instrumental versions of the singles “ TT ” (including a remix version), “ Cheer Up ” and “ Like Ohh-Ahh ” ^[3] . Over the next four days, photo teasers of the participants ^{[4] [5] [6] [7] were released} .

At midnight on February 17 and 18, teasers of the video clip were released. The first teaser started with a door knock, which ended with the TT video clip, and the second teaser showed participants in slow motion ^{[8] [9]} . At midnight on February 19, the final group teaser was released ^[10] .

The album and video for “Knock Knock” were released at midnight on February 20 ^{[11] [12]} .

On February 20, 2017, at 20:00 Korean time, Twice broadcasted in App “V” to celebrate a comeback with fans. They talked about the album, the single “Knock Knock” and the video for it, and also talked about their first concerts, held from February 17 to 19, and the Asian tour. They first demonstrated a new choreography ^{[13] [14] [15]} . On February 21, they recorded on You Hee-yeol's Sketchbook ; their appearance was included in a special episode shown on February 25 with the theme “Songs that I would like to sing in their 20s” ^{[16] [17]} .

February 23, the first performance on M! Countdown ^[18] . On February 24, Twice performed at Music Bank ^[19] , February 25 at Music Core ^[20] and February 26 at Inkigayo ^[21] , March 7 at The Show ^[22] and March 8 at Show Champion ^[23] . The promotion ended March 12 with a performance on Inkigayo ^{[24] [25]} .

Twicecoaster: Lane 2 finished first in the Gaon Albums Chart and fourth in the Billboard World Albums Chart ^{[26] [27]} . “Knock Knock” became No. 1 on the Gaon Singles Chart and fifth on the Billboard World Digital Songs ^{[28] [29]} .

In February 2017, 266,645 physical copies of the disk were sold ^[30] .
