Bukhtarma depression

The Bukhtarma Depression is an intermontane lowering between the Kalba and Naryn ranges and Lake Zaisan . The length is 45-50 km, width 10-15 km. The bedrock of the slopes is covered by deluvial deposits; the bottom is composed of gravel, sand, pebbles. Most of the depression is occupied by the Bukhtarma reservoir .
