The commune was formed on January 1, 2017 by the merger of the communes:
- Bokeh
- Danvue la Ferrier
- Campandre Valkongren
- Le Plessis Grimoul
- Ondfontaine
- One sur Odon
- Rukan .
The center of the commune is Onet-sur-Odon . The postal code and INSEE code were transferred from it to the new commune. On the maps, the coordinates of On-sur-Odon are indicated as the coordinates of Le Mont-d'One.
Administration
Since January 1, 2017, Pierre Lefèvre, formerly the mayor of Onet-sur-Odon, was elected the first mayor of Le Mont-d'One.
