Kairzhan Zhapabayev ( June 5, 1938 , Shakat village - January 4, 1994 , Pavlodar ) - Aviation Technician of the Pavlodar Airport of the Kazakh Civil Aviation Administration of the USSR Ministry of Civil Aviation, Kazakh SSR. Hero of Socialist Labor (1980).

Biography
Born in 1938 in a peasant family in the village of Shakat. He graduated from the seven-year school in his native village. Since 1954 - a loader on the Pavlodar river pier, a laborer of the Kamzin state farm of the Aksu region. In 1957–1960 he served in the Soviet Army, after which he graduated from the school of junior aviation specialists. Since 1964 - aircraft mechanic, aircraft maintenance technician at Pavlodar airport.
He fulfilled the tasks of the Tenth Five-Year Plan (1976-1980) ahead of schedule and his personal socialist obligations. By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated March 3, 1980, for his outstanding successes in the All-Union socialist competition, displayed labor prowess in fulfilling plans and socialist obligations to increase the production and sale of grain and other agricultural products to the state was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and Gold Hammer and Sickle Medal.
After retirement he lived in Pavlodar, where he died in 1994.
