Biography
As a student at St. Petersburg University, he joined the People’s Will and became the head of the Youth Union, to which he managed to attract the future Bolshevik M. S. Olminsky (Alexandrov). In 1884, A. N. Dastakov was involved in the case of the “People’s Will Working Group” and, at the highest command, was subordinated to the public surveillance of the police for 3 years in the city of Zakataly, Tiflis province [1] .
In 1890, together with K. I. Hatisov A. N. (1864-1913) Dastakov took part in the creation of the Dashnaktsutyun party, becoming one of its leaders and authors of its program.
A.N. Dastakov remained unchanged until 1917 as manager of the Council of the Oil Industrialists Council.

On the recommendation of the Baku Armenian National Council, he joined the ADR government as Minister of Health.
He died in 1929 in Paris . He was buried in the cemetery of Bagnes-Parisien.
