- printed form or
- certain sector of the printing stamp sheet .
In the latter case, it is also called a leaf number [1] .
In practice, it is the serial number of this printed form [4] . It is usually printed on one of the fields of the vintage sheet, on its edge or on the border of the sheet [3] [4] , and is indicated in the form of numbers, individual letters or a combination of them [3] .
The numbering principle is widely used in printing as printing sequential, non-repeating numbers (copies). Numbering, as a rule, is carried out on a printing press in the process of printing a circulation by means of a numbering device, which is mounted in a printing form [5] .
