He worked together on the films “ A Little Pregnant ,” “ Super Peppers ,” “ Pineapple Express: I Sit, Smoke ,” “ Funny People, ” and “The Green Hornet .” [4] In the hope of getting people interested and getting funding, Goldberg created a trailer called “Jay and Set Against the Apocalypse”, which later was the end of the world film 2013: Apocalypse Hollywood , which was released in June 2013. Goldberg and Rogen were ardent fans of the Simpsons. When they learned that the executive producer of the Simpsons, James L. [5] [6] They were invited to the Simpsons screenwriters room, where they suggested several ideas for the episode. One of them was accepted and scripted with the support of some of the main script writers of the show. [7] The script turned into an episode of Homer the Whopper , which became the premiere of the twenty-first season .
