The Slovenian Charity Committee is a public organization in Russia that aims to provide charitable assistance to Orthodox and other Slavic peoples. And also helped in the study of the Russian language, and the dissemination of ideas of Russian monarchism. It was founded in 1858 by a circle of Slavophiles , under the leadership of Mikhail Pogodin . It existed until 1917. There were branches in St. Petersburg and Moscow , and since 1869 in Kiev .
