Biography
Born on December 6, 1914, in the village of Varvarskoe (now part of the Kstovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region ) in a peasant family. He graduated from the seven-year school and technical school, worked at the Gorky Automobile Plant . In 1936-1938 he served in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army .
In July 1941, he was again drafted into the Red Army . Between September 1942 and August 1943 he fought on the Southern Front , the North Caucasus Front and on the 1st Belorussian Front , the 134th Tank Regiment of the 4th Guards Cavalry Corps , 2 tank battalion of the 140th Separate Tank Brigade of the 5th Strike Army and later the 1087th self-propelled artillery regiment of the 4th Guards Rifle Corps , was a tank driver.
In August 1943 he was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of 2 degrees, for a special distinction during the liberation of Donbass . In July 1944, he destroyed 2 enemy guns, self-propelled guns , 7 mortars, 3 machine-gun points and a car with enemy soldiers (for these actions he was awarded the Order of Glory of 3 degrees). During the battles for Grabna Vol and Michalow (Poland) from August 4 to 20, 1944, he destroyed a large number of enemy soldiers (for this operation he was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree). During the crossing of the Vistula , the enemy tank was disabled, destroyed about 10 machine guns and mortars, and also destroyed a large number of enemy soldiers and officers. May 31, 1945 awarded the Order of Glory 1 degree.
He left the reserve in 1951. After the resignation, he worked at a tire factory. He died on July 6, 1979, was buried in Kstovo .
