Biography
Born September 14, 1923 in Karagali , Volga region , Astrakhan region in a peasant family. In 1939 he graduated from the local seven-year school. After graduation, he worked on a collective farm.
In October 1941 he was drafted into the Red Army , took part in the battles of World War II from May 1942. In September 1942 he was slightly wounded in the shoulder, and in February 1943 was seriously wounded. On January 15, 1944, together with a reconnaissance group, he participated in the capture of the “language”. For this operation, Suleymanov was awarded the medal "For Military Merit." March 9, 1944 during the crossing of the Dnieper burst one of the first in the enemy trench and threw grenades at it. On March 13 of the same year, in the battles for Kherson, he destroyed 5 enemy soldiers. March 29, 1944 awarded the Order of Glory 3 degrees. July 28, 1944 during the battles for Sherpena ( Moldova ), threw grenades at the enemy dugout, destroyed 3 Nazis, was wounded. August 12, 1944 was awarded the Order of Glory 2 degrees. At the beginning of February 1945, Oder was forced. On March 30, 1945, while repulsing an enemy attack, he captured 6 Germans and destroyed 10. For this feat, Akhmed Nurmukhamedovich was presented to the medal “For Courage”. May 31, 1945 awarded the Order of Glory 1 degree. He resigned from the armed forces in October 1945 and returned to Karagali.
After the war, he worked as a machine operator and received the title of Honorary Collective Farmer .
He died on February 9, 1993.
