Brian Krzhanich ( born Brian Matthew Krzanich ; born May 9, 1960 ) - American manager, former CEO of Intel Corporation (2013 - 2018), member of the board of directors of the Semiconductor Industry Association.

Biography
In 1982, he graduated from the University of California at San Jose with a bachelor 's degree in chemistry .
After graduation, he began working as a process engineer at the Intel company in New Mexico . After some time, he took up the position of production manager. Then he moved up the career ladder at Intel manufacturing units.
In January 2012, he was appointed Executive Director of Intel.
On May 16, 2013, at a meeting of Intel shareholders, he took over as Intel CEO [1] .
On June 21, 2018, he was dismissed due to violations of Intel's rules regarding close relations between employees. He also lost his seat on the board of directors [2] . His leadership at Intel was overshadowed by problems with the adoption of advanced technological standards [3] , the successful return of rival AMD to the market for desktop and server processors [4] , the scandal with the sale by the head of Intel of its shares for a total of $ 24 million on the eve of the publication of information about large-scale hardware vulnerabilities Specter and Meltdown [5] .
