History
The company was founded in 1887 by a prominent Russian entrepreneur, a merchant of the 1st guild , a hereditary honorary citizen , commerce adviser , the former mayor of Perm , the founder of the Berezniki soda plant Ivan Ivanovich Lyubimov and the developer of the ammonia method for producing soda from table salt , a Belgian scientist- chemist, entrepreneur Ernest Solve . [2]
As stated in paragraph 1 of the Company's Charter, which was highly approved on November 3, 1887 (amended and supplemented on November 10, 1889 and May 9, 1900 ):
For the maintenance and distribution of the actions of a soda plant located in the Perm province , of the Solikamsk district in an area called "Bereznikovsky Meadow" and owned by the Partnership on faith "Lyubimov and Co.", as well as for the sale of both a factory made in this factory using the Solve method of soda, and by-products, a joint-stock company is established under the name "Society for the production of soda in Russia under the firm of Lyubimov, Solve, and Co.". As stated in the same Charter, the founders of the company were also the French citizen August Avgustovich Lutrail , the Trade House “Wogau and Co.” and the British citizen Charles James Thornton.
In the spring of 1890, the Lyubimov, Solve and Co company on the banks of the Seversky Donets river near the village of Verkhnee in the Yekaterinoslav province (now Lysychansk, Lugansk region of Ukraine ) launched the second soda production of the company, commissioned on April 28, 1892. Equipped with the last word technicians using the most modern technologies at that time, both plants brought huge profits. For 30 years of its activity, the company brought about 33.85 million gold rubles. net income [4] .
After the establishment of Soviet power in Russia, the Lyubimov, Solve and Co. Society was abolished, and all of its property was nationalized.
