Isabelle Durant ( born Isabel Durant , born December 21, 1991 , Sydney , Australia ) is an Australian actress , dancer, and model. She is best known for playing the role of Ondina in the series Secret of the Mako Island and the role of Grace Whitney in the series Dance Academy .

Biography
Isabelle was born in the city of Sydney, in the family of Tony and Pauline Durant. At the age of 3 years, the parents decided to send their daughter to the dance school “Loreto Kirribilli”, where Isabelle showed great success. After a long training at Loreto Kirribilli, at the age of 14, she decided to try herself in something new. Isabelle entered her first drama class. A little later, she took part in several model shootings. In 2010, Isabelle, immediately after graduating from high school, took part in the third season of the Australian version of the popular dance television show "So You Think You Can Dance", where she showed her dancing abilities. In 2011, Isabelle auditioned for the role of Grace Whitney in the series Dance Academy .
