The Python Bridge ( Dutch: Pythonbrug ; the official name is High Bridge, Dutch Hoge Brug ) is a bridge in the eastern part of Amsterdam, in the Eastern Docklands , connecting Sporenburg and Borneo Island. It was built in 2001 and won the International Footbridge Award in 2002. The bright red bridge has a length of 90 m. The bridge was designed by Adrian Heisey for the architectural firm West 8 [1] .
