Khutorskoy, Andrey Viktorovich

Professional interests are concentrated in the field of didactics , pedagogical innovation , pedagogy methodology , distance education .

Editor-in-chief of Eidos online magazines and Vestnik of the Institute for Human Education. Founder and chairman of the organizing committee of the All-Russian distance heuristic olympiads .

One of the leaders of the Russian Science Citation Index in the field of pedagogy and education ^[2] .

He has been engaged in distance education since 1989 (the Soviet-American project "School email"). In 1998, he established the Eidos Distance Education Center, where he works as a director. His forecast: “In this century, the best teachers will be remote teachers who can interact with the whole world through electronic telecommunications.”

Created an existing system for the development of gifted students with the help of All-Russian distance heuristic Olympiads. Since 1998, more than 250 thousand schoolchildren from Russia and other countries took part in these Olympiads.

He founded the All-Russian competitions "Remote Teacher of the Year", "Remote School of the Year", "Modern Lesson", All-Russian Distance August Pedagogical Conferences (held annually since 1999). Developer and organizer of distance learning courses, projects, conferences for schoolchildren and adults. Held with colleagues more than 30 distance learning projects: “Coat of arms of my kind”, “My Pushkin”, “My Victory”, “Phenomenon”, “My Virtual House”, “Summer Internet Festival”, etc.

In 2008, he established the Eidos Tour travel company, which organizes school tours to Moscow , St. Petersburg , Paris , and other cities and countries.

In 2011, he founded and headed the Institute for Human Education, a non-profit scientific and educational institution that is part of the Eidos group of companies.
