Gribusova, Valeria Olegovna

Gribusova Valeria O. was born February 12, 1995 in the Republic of Belarus, the city of Mogilev. From 5 to 10 years she was engaged in the Ensemble of Folk Music "Yaryts" (head. L. A. Zhukova), the state institution of additional education "Regional Center of Creativity" in the Honored Amateur Group of the Republic of Belarus. In 2005 she entered the EI "Mogilev State Gymnasium-College of Arts" at the department "Conducting (academic vocal)". For 8 years she was the soloist of the pop studio at MGGKI (led by E. A. Levchenko). From 2010–2011 she studied at the Sergey Nagorny Fashion Studio (headed by TS Polozkova) and completed a course in the following disciplines: acting, choreography, fashion shows, fashion, etiquette, hairdressing, cosmetology, photo workshop. In 2013 she graduated from the Mogilev State Gymnasium College of Arts with an honors degree. In the same year she entered the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts at the Faculty of Musical Art with a degree in pop art (singing). Since August 2013, she has been employed by the National Academic Orchestra of Symphonic and Popular Music of the Republic of Belarus under the direction of the National Artist of Belarus, laureate of the State Prize of Belarus, laureate of the Union State, Professor Mikhail Finberg. . In June 2016, Gribusova Valeria was awarded the Grand Prize and the title of laureate of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the support of talented youth.

2016-present: VAL

VAL is a young electronic project from Belarus. Inspired by the new and current trends of modern music, VAL is not afraid to leave the comfort zone, seeking to expand the scope of the possible and give new emotions to the audience.

The VAL project was founded in early 2016 by vocalist Valeria Gribusova, as well as musician and sound producer Vladislav Pashkevich (VP). Since mid-2016, the project has been produced by the ToneTwins team, which also includes a talented musician and sound producer Andrei Katikov (Paul Kat), a graduate of the world-renowned University of Music Berklee College of Music .

On May 1, 2016, VAL released her debut single "Who You Are", sponsored by Valeria Gribusova and Vladislav Pashkevich. In September 2016, the release of the second single "Wind in a Dream" took place. The authors of the song were Andrey Katikov and Alexey Gordeyev. January 1, 2017 was the release of the debut video for the single "Wind in a Dream."
