Laurence Olivier Prize for Best Actress of an Auxiliary Cast in a Musical Award - British Award given by the London Theater Community , in recognition of professional achievements in the field of musical theater. It was created in 1976 and renamed 1984 in honor of the great British actor .

For the first time, an award in this category was awarded in 2015; Prior to this, there was no division into male and female roles of auxiliary staff in the musical, and actors of both sexes were represented in the combined nomination .

For the entire existence of the award, 5 actresses received it. Actress Patty Lupont is the last winner of the award at the moment, she received her for her role as Joan in the musical " Company ". Actresses Haydn Guinn and Emma Williams were twice nominated for this award, which is a record number of nominations in this category.
