Biography
Born in a working class family, Russian. Graduated from 5 classes of school. He worked as a master of timber rafting of the Shalakush timber industry enterprise in the Nyandoma district. In 1932-1935 he served in the Red Army .
Since August 1941 on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1943.
In July 1944, near the settlement of Holonyuv (Ukraine), he found two enemy artillery and mortar batteries, which were later destroyed. Near the town of Druzhkopol (Ukraine) radio corrected the battery fire, as a result of which more than 20 enemy soldiers and officers were destroyed. August 10, 1944 was awarded the Order of Glory 3 degrees.
On January 12, 1945, at the settlement of Šidlów (Poland), he destroyed several soldiers from the enemy’s personal weapons and shot down an armored troop-carrier with a grenade. The battery, the fire of which he corrected, suppressed on that day two batteries and a large-caliber machine gun of the enemy. March 19, 1945 was awarded the Order of Glory 2 degrees.
April 16, 1945 corrected the fire division. As a result, the mortar battery, three machine-gun points and the observation post of the enemy were destroyed. April 17, 1945 at the station Gross-Kelzig (Germany) found two self-propelled guns of the enemy, which were destroyed. April 18, 1945 when crossing the river. Spree controlled the division's artillery fire, the mortar battery was put down and the enemy’s bunker was destroyed. On May 20, 1945 he was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree (he was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree on December 30, 1976).
Demobilized in October 1945.
He worked as the head of the logging station, the feller of the forest of the Konosha forestry enterprise in the Arkhangelsk region.
