History
Suprunovka station was opened in 1932. [2] Located 4 km from the station. Poltava-Kiev , in the residential area of Polovki on the western outskirts of Poltava. The station is named in honor of the village of the same name , located nearby.
In Soviet times around the station, intensive construction of factories, various warehouses and bases is underway. New microdistrict Polovki has grown. Large enterprises are being built — the Poltava Discharge Lamps Plant (1963) and the Poltava Chemical Engineering Plant Khimmash (1964–1967) [3] . There are access roads to these plants and other enterprises. Intensive development of the industry made Suprunovka a large cargo station.
In the 90s. the pace of industrial production at Poltava enterprises is rapidly falling. As a result, many access roads were dismantled, and their fragments can still be found along the stretch Suprunovka - Poltava-Kiev. However, some businesses continue to operate.
In 2002, the station tracks were electrified. Then a new EC post was built, the station and the two-story building of the goods office were reconstructed, the useful length of the first main road was increased, and a number of other important works were completed [4] . In 2002, on the Suprunovka - Post 311 km stretch, a mobile traction substation (EChE-11) was mounted [5] . On the access roads can be found diesel locomotives TEM2 , TGM4 , TGM23 , CHME3 .
In July 2002, the head of the Poltava-Kievskaya station, Olga Semyonovna Dyachenko, was appointed deputy head of the Southern Railway - head of the Poltava Railway Transportation Directorate. Previously, she headed the staff of the station Suprunovka [4] .
In 2014, the station served 14 access roads, including the private enterprise KP “Avtotrans”, OJSC “Poltava HPP”, PJSC “Poltavakhimmash” and others. For 10 months of 2014, 2998 cars were unloaded, and 1507 were loaded. At the station there is a cargo yard of the Poltava mechanized distance of loading and unloading operations (MCH-4), equipped with a special elevated platform, trestle and gantry cranes, grab [4] .
Infrastructure
At the station - one main, three side and several dead-end paths. Equipped with electrical centralization of the arrows and signals. Single track to the station. Poltava-Kiev and post 311 km - with two - way automatic blocking .
Passengers boarding is carried out from a low passenger platform.
Suburban train movement
At the station, commuter trains stop along the routes Poltava - Grebenka and Poltava - Romodan [6] . There is a ticket office where you can purchase tickets for commuter and long-distance trains.
