Dave and his partner Andy Hunt wrote the book The Pragmatic Programmer, which was the first in the series The Pragmatic Bookshelf, and opened the eponymous publishing company.
Dave Thomas lives in Texas , having moved to the United States from England in 1994.
It is considered the author of the term Code Kata.
He studied programming at Imperial College London [2] .
