Biography
Early years
Born in 1919 in the village of Lugoviki, Chernukhinsky district, Poltava region [1] . My father died in civilian clothes, and my mother soon died. He was educated in an orphanage, and when he grew up, he was sent to study at the school of the Federal Law School in the town of Yenakiyevo , where he received the specialty of an electrician. After graduation, he worked as an electrician at a local coke plant [1] .
On the fronts of World War II
On October 10, 1939, Ordzhonikidze GVK was called up to the Red Army , and after a year and a half the Great Patriotic War began . He defended Moscow, fought in the Caucasus , participated in the breakthrough of the Blue Line. Here, at the front, In 1944 he became a member of the CPSU .
Participated in the battles:
- From 11.1942 to 06.1943 - electrician of the 3rd rifle regiment, the consolidated detachment of the Sukhumi rifle division of the North Caucasus Front;
- From 06.1943 till 05.45 - a driver of 10 pages of the division of the North Caucasus Front.
Wounded twice in 1943 and in March 1945.
After the war
Demobilized from the army, in 1946 he arrived in the Kuban , he entered the state farm "Trud". Here he worked as a tractor driver, led the tractor brigade, and in 1956 he was appointed manager of the first branch [1] .
In 1950 he received the first labor award - the medal "For Labor Valor" . In subsequent years, the yield of fields increased, the productivity of farms. The department became the leading state farm. The turning point was the years of the Seventh Five-Year Plan. The branch received steady yields annually: 35–37 centners of wheat, 45–50 corn per hectare. Sunflower yield increased.
In 1965, 24.3 centners of sunflower oilseeds were obtained from each of the 240 hectares. Moreover, the actual cost of production was significantly lower than planned.
Animal breeders of the department worked well this year. They produced and sold a lot of meat and milk to the state, significantly reducing the cost of labor and funds. Only due to this, about 40 thousand rubles were saved.
For success achieved in increasing the production and harvesting of sunflower, the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 30, 1966 to Vechersky Mikhail Ivanovich , the manager of the Trud state farm department, was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the Sickle and Hammer gold medal.
The workers of the department in the following years achieved the honorary title “The Department of High Culture of Agriculture” [1] . The grain yield exceeded 44 centners, and winter wheat - 45 centners per hectare. They overlapped tasks for agricultural production and surrendered over a five-year plan 5.5 thousand tons of grain, a lot of sunflower, milk and other products. The yield per worker was 137 percent of the task, its cost price was significantly reduced.
For his achievements, M. I. Vechersky was awarded the Order of the October Revolution . He was awarded the medal "For Valiant Labor. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of V. I. Lenin ” . He was a member and was awarded medals VDNH .
He was elected a member of the Adygea Regional Committee of the CPSU and the Giaginsky District Committee of the CPSU, a deputy of the Adygea Regional Council of People's Deputies [1] . Personal pensioner of union value.
He died from frontal wounds on July 7, 1999.
