Content
Formation History
The formation of the brigade began in 2016 . On December 27, 2016, the newly created brigade was expected to attend training in the district Novoselidovka . It was planned that during the exercises, the new brigade will undergo combat coordination . At the end of the exercises, on January 3-4, 2017 , the 46th separate airborne assault brigade was to replace the 128th mountain infantry brigade , which, accordingly, was transferred to the reserve. The war in eastern Ukraine
In January 2017, the team took up positions in the area of Donetsk Airport and Maryinka . [3]
As of March 2, 2018, the 46th Separate Air Assault Brigade lost 1 dead. [4] [5]
