Vozdvizhenka (Arkhangelsk region)

Vozdvizhenka is an abolished settlement in Bashkortostan . It was located on the territory of the Krasnokurtovsky village council of the Arkhangelsk region . It was located on the left bank of the Kurt River between the villages of Shakirovka and Uspenka .

History

In the 1920s, the village of Vozdvizhenka was part of the Arkhangelsk volost of the Ufa canton . According to the 1920 census, the village had 27 yards and 180 inhabitants (97 men and 83 women); the predominant nationality is Russian [1] .

In the 1950s, the village of Vozdvizhenka was the center of the Red-Kurtovsky village council of the Arkhangelsk region [2] . In the 1969 reference book, Vozdvizhenka is already listed as a village as part of the Krasnokurtovsky village council (Shakirovka became the center of the village council) [3] .

The village was abolished by decree of the Presidium of the Armed Forces of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic of 07.23.1981 No. 6-2 / 229 "On the exclusion of certain settlements from the registration data on the administrative-territorial division of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic" " in connection with the resettlement of residents and the actual termination of existence " [4] . Together with Vozdvizhenka eliminated the village. Christmas of the same Krasnokurtovsky village council .

In the village, the USSR State Prize winner Nikolai Vasilievich Matveev (1929-1985) was born.
