Description
Relatively large chalcidoid riders, length of females from 9.5 to 11.5 mm, males from 7.2 to 11 mm. The main color is black (with a metallic sheen) and several lemon-yellow markings on the scape, chest, abdomen and legs. The wings are darkened. Hind legs with thickened and strongly curved hips and legs. Antennae 13-segmented. The mandibular palps are 4-segmented, the lower labial palps composed of 3 segments [1] .
Biology
Marked from February to November. Supposedly, like other species of the genus, ectoparasitoids of bees or Vespidae wasps [1] .
Systematics
It is included in the species group Leucospis hopei , in which the clypeus has a middle fine tooth, mandibles with a small triangular notch, pronotum with premarginal keel. It was first described in 1974 by British hymenopterologist of Czech origin Zdenek Bouček (1924-2011) [1] .
