The Living Hearts Charitable Foundation is a non-profit organization created in 2012 by the writer and blogger Mikhail Samarsky from the program of the same name, in which he worked on helping blind children.

The Foundation’s Board of Trustees includes Irina Rodnina and Catherine Rozhdestvensky [1] .
Activity
The purpose of the foundation is to help blind people. Audiobooks are issued, books are published in Braille , various instruments are purchased for blind and visually impaired children [2] .
The Living Hearts Foundation is implementing the “Cinema for the Blind and Deaf” charity project under the leadership of journalist and producer Lydia Andreeva with the support of the Russian Union of Cinematographers, MegaFon , Ernst & Young and individuals. As part of the project, a series of popular films with tiflokommentiyami (oral description of objects, costumes, gestures, actions of heroes, types of nature - for the visually impaired) and subtitles (for people with hearing disabilities) are issued in Russian and organizes charity shows for people with disabilities throughout country [3] .
Anton Pavlenko, director of the Kaluga regional branch of MegaFon, described the collaboration with the Living Hearts Foundation: “Thanks to our collaboration with the Living Hearts Foundation, over the past couple of years, tens of thousands of people with disabilities have been able to evaluate new products on a par with the whole country Russian cinema " [4] .
