Biography
He was born on April 17, 1925 in the village of Sust of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (now Babek district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan).
He began his career as an ordinary collective farmer in 1942 on the collective farm “26 Baku commissars” in the Nakhichevan region. Later the link manager of the farm and the shepherd.
In 1947 he achieved high rates in the field of livestock.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of August 17, 1948, Huseynov, Gasum Huseyn oglu, was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the Order of Lenin and the Gold Hammer and Sickle Medal for receiving high livestock productivity.
He died on November 15, 1958 in his native village.
