He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physical Culture and Sports with a degree in pedagogy and psychology.

Family

Marshall Savchuk was born into a sports family . Father, Viktor Vasilievich Savchuk , master of sports of the USSR international class in classical wrestling , silver medalist of the 1981 European Championships in Swedish Gothenburg , winner of the 1983 Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR , was repeatedly a candidate for the country's Olympic team.

Mom, Irina Petrovna Davydova, was fond of volleyball.

Sports Career

Since childhood, Marshall Savchuk dreamed of following in his father’s footsteps and began his sports career under his leadership in the Greco-Roman wrestling section. He was the winner of the Moscow and regional youth tournaments. Later, having met with combat sambo coaches Igor Vladimirovich Sereda and Vitaly Fedorovich Erokhin, he became interested in mixed styles and began performing in combat sambo. The debut took place in 2011 at the international tournament in memory of G.P. Dolgolenko, the result was a bronze medal. In 2012, after a series of victories at regional and regional tournaments, at the personal request of the trainers (I.V.Sereda and V.F. Erokhin), he was accepted into the team of the sports club of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, where he began to train under the guidance of an honored coach on combat sambo Valery Valentinovich Volostnykh.

In 2012, he won the Russian Orthodox Combat SAMBO Championship.

In 2013, he became the winner of the East-West Martial Arts Olympiad (Combat SAMBO section), meeting in the final bout with the famous Velikovgorod athlete, professional MMA fighter Sergei Andreev.

In the same year, in Odessa , he became the champion of Europe in Combat SAMBO , defeating prematurely painful and suffocating tricks in every fight of the tournament.

In 2013, he became the owner of the “Alliance Cup” in MMA, in the final battle he actually made his debut in the professional fight with Islam Iskanderov.

In 2015, in Germany, she wins the Open World Grappling Championship (WFMC).

In August 2016, as part of the Russian Knight festival in the city of Alexandrov, he holds the title fight for the Ioann Grozniy Cup Champion Belt and wins by a painful hand.

Community Activities

Since 2013, Marshall Savchuk has been actively involved in the development of sports in the regions of Russia, holds master classes and seminars in regional centers (Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Tomsk, etc.) and small towns ( Zhukovsky [2] , Pavlovsky Posad, Kasimov [ 3] , Tuimazy [4] ).

In 2017, on the basis of the Moscow club “Shark”, he created an informal association “Alliance of Clubs of Moscow”, the purpose of which was to help novice athletes in building a career for professional MMA fighters. An additional goal of AKM was proclaimed the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among young people.

Coaching

He began his first training in 2009 at the request of friends.

In 2010, he opened the first group in the hall of his teachers, I.V. Sereda and V.F. Erokhin. He taught mainly physical training (general physical training) with game elements and wrestling elements, focusing on the rich coaching experience of his father, Viktor Vasilyevich Savchuk.

In 2013, he began cooperation with the famous Moscow martial arts club "MPEI-Alliance" , where for the first time he began to seriously engage in athletes of medium and higher sports qualifications.

In February 2015, he created his informal project “Champions Team”, uniting athletes professionally performing in MMA and related martial arts.

In 2016, Savchuk was awarded the highest coaching title - “Honored Coach of Russia in Combat Sambo” (WCSF).

In 2017 (according to sportsp.ru), Marshall became the highest paid martial arts trainer in Russia.

Champions Team

In February 2015, an informal association of professional fighters “Champions Team” was created. Created and led by M.V. Savchuk.

At different times, the permanent team of this team consisted of famous athletes: Zaur Hajibabaev, Adam Bogatyrev , Aren Akopyan, Danil Tsvetkov, Andrey Mitrofanov, Maxim Danilov, Abdulbasir Majidov, Bogdan Guskov Oleg Belozerov, Magomed Aliyev, Alexander Gladkov and others.

Other well-known athletes also participated in the training of the team at different times: Andrey Chubotaru, Alexey Kudin, Nikita Krylov, Yaroslav Amosov, Dmitry and Vladislav Parubchenko, Shamil Nurmagomedov and others.

The fighters of this informal association participated in such tournaments as "M-1 Global", "Fight Nights", "Tech-Krep", "Oplot", "Ioann Grozniy Cup", "Colosseum", "Aikol FC", "White Rex "," ACB ", as well as leading specialized American leagues.
