State Border (television series)

“State Border” is a Soviet multi-part historical and adventure television feature film , shot at the Belarusfilm film studio in 1980 - 1988 and telling about the service of the Soviet border guards . The action takes place from 1917 to the end of the 1980s and takes place on the territory of the USSR from the Far East to the western borders.

Story

The series consists of eight films united by the main characters. Each series is dedicated to events in a certain period of the formation and development of the Soviet border service.

Movie No. 1 "We are ours, we are new ..." (1980)

1917 year . October revolution . Former captain of the border guard Vladimir Danovich refuses to emigrate from Russia and agrees to participate in the creation of a new border service of the young Soviet state ...

Bandits dressed in the Red Army uniform attack the Soviet border city. The Polish intelligence and white emigrants behind them are preparing new operations to discredit the Soviet border guards. Chekists are preparing a response ...

Film No. 3, The Eastern Frontier (1982)

1929 year. At the Sino-Soviet border, border guards reveal a conspiracy.

Movie No. 4 Red Sand (1984)

1930s. Central Asia, Turkestan. The task of the border guards is to destroy the leader of the Basmachi Mumin-bek.

Movie No. 5, “Forty-First Years” (1986)

1941 , the beginning of World War II . The first blow of the German troops take the Soviet border guards.

Film No. 6 Beyond the Threshold of Victory (1987)

1946, Western Ukraine . The Great Patriotic War ended , but in the forests, detachments of Ukrainian nationalists were still hiding. Border guards need to send their person to their ranks.

Movie No. 7 Salt Wind (1988)

Baltic States , late 1950s. Western intelligence agencies send a saboteur into the border zone to organize a large-scale provocation.

Film No. 8 “On the Far Frontier” (1988)

The end of the 1980s. Foreign intelligence agencies create spy networks on the territory of the USSR. At one of the southern outposts, border guards neutralize a Western intelligence agent.

Continuation of the series (2013—2015)

In 2013-2015, the Belarusfilm film studio, with the support of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, filmed the continuation of the series based on the script by Valentin Zaluzhny. The new picture tells about the Belarusian border guard who challenges modern trends in international crime. The directors were Igor Chetverikov and Sergey Talybov. Four two-part feature films were released (the numbering remains the same): Couriers of Fear, Afghan Trap, Deadly Catch, and False Target. Their action is already in Belarus . The premiere took place in the summer of 2016 on the Belarusian television channel " STV " [1] .
