Biography
Born on December 1, 1953 in the village of Gergebil, Gergebil District of Dagestan . Avar . In 1971 he was drafted into the ranks of the Soviet Army, served in Germany. In 1976 he entered the Higher School of the KGB of the USSR [1] .
Feat
On June 12, 2001, Gimbatov Magomed Gimbatovich was awarded the title Hero of Russia [1] [2] for courage and selfless actions shown during the performance of a special mission.
