Corinne Re-Belle ( fr. Corinne Rey-Bellet , May 2, 1972 , Le Crozet, Val d'Ilier, canton of Valais , Switzerland - April 30, 2006 , ibid.) - Swiss skier , vice 2003 world champion in downhill skiing, winner of the five stages of the World Cup in 1999-2002, multiple champion of Switzerland, participant in 4 winter Olympic games. Successfully performed in speed disciplines and giant slalom.

She ended her career in the spring of 2003 shortly after a successful performance at the World Championships in St. Moritz.

On April 30, 2006, Corinne was shot dead in the home of her parents by her husband Gerold Stadler, with whom they broke up about 10 days earlier. Brother Corinne Allen was also killed, who was supposed to get married a few days later, mother Corinne and Alena, 60-year-old Ferena, was seriously injured. The two-year-old son of Corinne and Herold Kevin, who was at home, was not injured, nor was father Corinne, who was absent, injured [1] . A soldier of the Swiss army Stadler was found dead in the woods on May 3, 2006. He had a service weapon from which Korinn and Alain were killed. Stadler shot himself approximately 36 hours before his body was found.
