History
In 1915, Crimean and Australian pine saplings were planted on an area of 5 hectares. These cultures are the only forest cultures in this sandy semi-desert. Pine thicket is valuable as a scientific object and a monument of nature [1] .
In Soviet times, the pioneer camp "Green Forest" was built by the collective farm "Chervlyonsky" in the grove area. As a result of the construction, several dozen unique trees were killed. Currently, 118 trees have been preserved on an area of 0.78 ha. Their average height is 15 m, diameter - 30 cm. In 2010, the grove was fenced and groomed [1] .
