Creation History
Mastertrim was originally developed by Vistagy . Since the early 2000s, Mastertrim (then called the Seat Design Environment, SDE [1] ) began to be used in automotive plants for seat design. In December 2011, Vistagy became part of Siemens PLM Software , and Mastertrim became part of the company's portfolio of solutions [2] .
Mastertrim is designed to automate the design process of seats, interior elements and other products requiring upholstery.
