Biography
In 1922 he graduated from the Faculty of History and Philology of Tbilisi University (first graduation).
From 1927 to 1930 he was the rector of the Tbilisi Academy of Arts , where in 1928 he formed the art fund of the best works of students and teachers, which later became an academic museum.
From 1932 to 1937 he was the editor of the newspaper and the magazine “Sabchota helovneba” (“Soviet Art”). Since 1933 he was a professor at Tbilisi University.
Member of the First Congress of Soviet Writers , held in Moscow from August 17 to September 1, 1934.
In the 1930s, he published a number of works on Georgian theater, was the author of works on drama theory, articles on theatrical figures and performances [1] .
Arrested and executed on November 22, 1937 [2] .
