Mammad Abdullah oglu Jafarov ( azerb. Biography
Born on December 16, 1926 in the village of Shakhtakhty, Nakhchivan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (now Kengerlinsky district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan).
He graduated from the Azerbaijan Agricultural Institute.
He began his career as a veterinarian paramedic in 1941 on the collective farm "Azerbaijan" (formerly named after Beria) of the Nakhchivan region. Later the foreman, and the chairman of the same collective farm. After that, he also worked as the director of the Nakhichevan city hatchery station and the director of the tobacco-growing state farm No. 3 in the Illichivsk district.
In 1948 he achieved high rates in the field of animal husbandry.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of June 24, 1949, for obtaining high livestock productivity, Jafarov Mammad Abdullah oglu was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal " Hammer and Sickle ."
Since 1982, the director of the Boyukduz buffalo complex.
Member of the Supreme Council of the Azerbaijan SSR of the 3rd convocation.
He died on November 13, 1997 in the city of Nakhchivan.
