Ryskulova, Kakish Ryskulovna

Childhood and Youth

She was born on October 15, 1918 in the village of Chetindi, now in the Kant region, in the family of a peasant, niece of the outstanding scientist, enlightener Ishenaly Arabaev . Father, Saralaev Ryskul (b. 1879), mother of Saralaev Dzhumagul (b. 1902), members of the TOZ , artels of the Chetindi collective farm. Four children of Kakish, Kanymjan, Bekish, Beishengul were born in the Saralayev family.

Path in Medicine

Since September 1930, Kakish Ryskulova has been studying at the Tash-Dobe elementary school of the Alamedin district, then at the boarding school of the collective farm youth of ShKM. In 1934 she entered the Frunze Republican Medical School. After graduating from February 1, 1938 to July, she worked as a medical assistant in the village of Palal-Ooz, Darinsky Village Council, and in the village of Ortoboz Village Council, in the Batken District, Osh Region. Since 1939 - a nurse in the Naryn city hospital, and since 1940 she worked as the head of the personnel department and special unit of the Tien Shan regional health.

In June 1940 she entered the medical faculty of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute, which she graduated with honors in July 1944, was a Stalin scholarship holder. She participated in the eradication of skin diseases that raged at that time, such as syphilis, smallpox, malaria and other infections in the Bazar-Kurgan, Batken, Tien Shan regions, in the “Arslanbap” and “Achi” zones. For the first time at the KSMI in June 1944, eight girls of the fourth graduation (Azykova Z.I., Altymyshbaeva K.A., Atakeeva B.A., Bulatova N.Sh., Mamutova D.M., Ryskulova K. Chukina S.S.) were reserved in the republic: at the request of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Health, a clinical graduate school was opened for these girls who want to work as clinicians.

After graduating from the medical institute, she entered clinical postgraduate studies at the department of faculty surgery, headed at that time by Professor ND Danilyuk, and then Professor A. N. Kruglov. Under the constant guidance of Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz SSR, Professor A. N. Kruglov, Kakish Ryskulova was formed as a surgeon, scientist, teacher.

Her scientific works are devoted to various issues: oncology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, traumatology, urology, vascular surgery and gastroenterology. Kakish Ryskulova, began her scientific discoveries in the hospital for aftercare of wounded soldiers of the Great Patriotic War, where she drew attention to the frequent occurrence of pain after amputation of limbs. The result of this discovery was the defense of the dissertation on July 21, 1951, on the topic: “On the technique of processing the nerve stump during amputations” and a number of publications.

For the first time in the USSR, she developed a unique technique for manually stitching a blood vessel of the walls of arteries and veins on the latest vasoconstrictor apparatus of V.F.Gudov, invented by him for the first time in the USSR in 1946.

In 1954, he was a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, in 1957 he was awarded the honorary title “Honored Doctor of the Kyrgyz SSR”. In 1967, she was elected the head of the department of faculty surgery, a member of the Committee on State Prizes of the Kyrgyz SSR in the field of science and technology, in 1968 she was confirmed as a professor of surgery, in 1969 she was elected an academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, deputy chairman of the Kyrgyz Republican Committee for Peace. Chairman of the Interdepartmental Commission of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute for the preliminary defense of a doctoral dissertation and Chairman of the specialized council for the defense of candidate dissertations in medical sciences. In 1980 he was awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz SSR"

The defense of the doctoral dissertation was held in the city of Moscow on March 21, 1967 at the scientific council of the TSOLIU of doctors. She has published more than 250 scientific works, 13 monographs, 11 inventions, introduced 47 rationalization proposals, 4 textbooks. She learned more than one generation of the most talented physicians who are world-famous scientists, she trained 32 candidates and 7 doctors of medical sciences.

She died on August 26, 2018 at the 100th year of life for natural reasons.

She took an active part in the socio-political life of the republic. She was elected three times as a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR (3rd, 5-6th convocations), a deputy of the city council, from 1959 to 1967 she was deputy chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR, at the XII Congress of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan she was elected a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan.

She was awarded the Order of Lenin, two orders of the Badge of Honor and numerous diplomas, medals "For Labor Valor", "For Conscientious Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945." In 1997 she was awarded the Dunk bronze medal, in 2003 - the Order of Manas III degree, in 2008 - the Order of Manas II degree.
