The pupil of the Leningrad football. Since 1960 - in Dynamo , in 1966-1968 - in the main team. In 1968-1972 - in the "Zenith" , in 1969-1971, played 19 matches, scored one goal. In 1973-1976, he played in Dynamo in the second league - 117 matches, 36 goals. The last team of masters - “Amu Darya” Nukus - three goals in the second league in 1977. For unauthorized transfer to Odessa after appearances for Zenit was disqualified for two years. Later he played in the Leningrad clubs "Svetlana", "Skorokhod", "Lentransagency".
He graduated from the GOLIFK named after PF Lesgaft (1974-1982).
