Grozny dendrological garden

The Grozny Dendrological Garden is a natural monument located in Chechnya , 2 km north-east of the intersection of the federal highway “Caucasus” with the road leading to Grozny. Founded in 1966 by workers of the urban forestry. In the arboretum grow 260 species of plants. The average height of trees is about 22 meters, and their diameter is 30-32 cm [1] .

It has the status of a specially protected natural area of regional (republican) importance [2] .

  • pedunculate oak ;
  • spruce Canadian silver ;
  • Tatar honeysuckle ;
  • red maple ;
