Biography
Born on August 14, 1979 in the city of Inzai in Chiba Prefecture [1] [2] . She graduated from the at the [1] , in the school Murat held the position of senior in the arts club. A graduate of the literary department of the University [2] . Among the teachers of Murata is the writer [3] .
As of 2016, she worked in a convenience store at a part-time shop [4] [5] . According to the writer, the work gives her food for thought and plots for books [6] .
She wrote from her youth, Murata’s “Ideal” introductory essay ( Jap. ) Was highly appreciated during the exams [5] . The literary debut - the book "Breastfeeding" ( Jap. 授乳 ) , for which Murata was awarded [6] [2] . Murata's work four times brought her Mishima award . In 2016, Murata received the Akutagawa Award for her story “The Man of the Minimarket” ( Jap. ン ビ 間 人 ) , published in the magazine Bungakukai , which was her first nomination for this award [7] [2] .
