Rafael Ramos di Lima , also known as just Rafael Lima (born March 8, 1986 in Florianopolis ) is a Brazilian footballer who is the central defender of America Minero Club.

Biography
Rafael Lima is a pupil of the Figiurense club from his native Florianopolis. The main composition debuted in 2006. He played for the “black and white” until 2009, but during this period he was twice leased to Atletico Sorocaba and Cearu. After the season spent in the UAE championship , he returned to his homeland in 2011. At the same time, Raphael could not find decent clubs to continue his career and at the end of the year even thought about ending his professional career [1] .
In 2012, he joined the Chapecoense, which at that time performed in Series C Brazil . In the first season, the defender helped the team achieve a promotion, and in 2013 Chape took second place in Serie B, after many years having achieved a return to the elite division. Rafael Lima became the captain and one of the idols of the fans of Chapecoense. In 2014-2015, Lima continued to be one of the leaders of his team, which in 2015 made its debut in the international arena - in the South American Cup [1] .
In 2016, Rafael Lima became much less likely to get into the main team, and the captain's armband passed to Kleber Santana . With Chape, Rafael Lima won the Santa Catarina State Championship and also played one match in the 2016 South American Cup . In this tournament, Chapecoense managed to reach the finals of the international tournament for the first time in its history.
Rafael Lima turned out to be one of the nine players in the base of the Chapecoense who did not fly to Medellin, Colombia on November 28, 2016 for the first game of the UAC finals against Atletico Nacional . As a result of the fall of BAe 146, flight 2933 , 19 Rafael’s comrades, the team’s coaching staff, journalists, members of the delegation and crew were killed in total 71 people [2] .
On December 24, 2016, Rafael Lima left Chape and soon signed a contract with America Mineiro [1] .
