History

In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the estate administratively belonged to the Sominsk parish of the 1st zemsky section of the 3rd camp of the Ustyuzhensky district of the Novgorod province .

According to the map of the Novgorod province of 1917, it was the village of Kozhakovo , it was located between the Golodenka and Sominka rivers [3] .
From 1917 to 1918, the village was part of the Tarantaevsky volost of the Tikhvin district of the Novgorod province.

Since 1924, as part of the Sominsk volost of Ustyuzhensky district.

Geography
The village is located in the south-eastern part of the region near the A114 highway ( Vologda - Novaya Ladoga ).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 18 km [15] .
The distance to the nearest railway station Efimovskaya is 24 km [6] .
The village is located on the right bank of the Sominka River and the right bank of the Zagolodenka River.
