History
in 1842 , the territory of Chechnya was divided into three tributes: Michikovskoye, Bolshaya Chechnya, and Malaya Chechnya. In 1844 , after the assassination of the Michikovsky Naib Shoip-mullah, Shamil , in order to strengthen control over the troubled Chechnya, reorganized the naibes - disaggregated them (Shamil believed that “strengthening borders is the most important task”) and appointed the most loyal people at the head . The naivets of Michikovskoye and Bolshaya Chechnya were each divided into two, and the naivety of Malaya Chechnya into four parts. In 1845 , Greater and Lesser Chechnya with Michikovsky, Kachkalykovsky and Ichkerin societies were divided into seven naibas. In 1846, three more naivets were formed - Shatoevsky, Shubutoevsky and Cheberloevsky. Subsequently, depending on the course of hostilities, the number of naibes decreased [2] .
