Biography
A pupil of Izhevsk biathlon , played for Udmurtia . At the end of his sports career, he played for the winter sports school in Saransk ( Mordovia ), trained under the guidance of Larisa Pavlovna Putyatina and Mikhail Vladimirovich Tkachenko.
Junior career
In the category “under 19 years” he took part in the junior world championships in 2002 in Val Ridanna and in 2003 in Koscielisko . In 2002, he won the silver medal in the relay as part of the Russian national team, and also took fourth place in the pursuit, 16th in the sprint and 17th in the individual race. In 2003, he became the world champion in the relay race with Ivan Panchenko and Andrey Dubasov , in the individual race he took ninth place, and in the sprint he was only 62nd.
In 2004 he performed in the category "under 21 years." At the World Championships in Haut-Morienne, he became a bronze medalist in the relay and took eighth place in the individual race. At the European Junior Championships in Minsk, he became fourth in the relay and 20th in the individual.
In the 2003/04 season he took part in the races of the IBU Junior Cup.
Adult Career
For adults, he performed only at Russian competitions. In 2009, he won the silver medal in the relay championship as part of the Mordovian team. In the summer of 2009 he became the champion of Russia in the super sprint and the silver medalist in the relay in the summer biathlon [1] [2] . In December 2009, he won the relay race at the Izhevsk Rifle [3] .
At the end of the 2009/10 season, he completed his sports career and switched to coaching. Until 2014, he worked in Saransk, as of 2016, he works as a trainer in the Secondary Biathlon School in Izhevsk and heads the women's team of Udmurtia [4] .
He graduated from Udmurt State University , Department of Physical Education and Sports (2008).
