Tamara Ivanovna Shkurko ( 1928 , the village of Burki - October 12, 2015 ) - the “Krasnaya Niva” collective farm in the Bragin district of the Polesia region, Belarus SSR. Hero of Socialist Labor (1948). Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Byelorussian SSR of the 3rd convocation.

Biography
Born in 1928 in a peasant family in the village of Burki (today the Bragin district of the Gomel region ). Until 1941 she graduated from six classes of a seven-year school in her native village. After the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders worked as a laborer in the local collective farm. Since 1944 - the link of the Komsomol-youth field managers. In 1945, the link collected about 15 centners of rye per hectare.
In 1947, the link of Tamara Shkurko received an average of 30.3 centners of rye in an area of 8 hectares. By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated March 10, 1948, for obtaining high yields of rye in 1947, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Sickle and Hammer gold medal.
She studied at the agricultural technical school in the city of Maryina Gorka . In 1957 she graduated from the Belarusian Academy of Agriculture. Since 1957 - Junior, Senior (since 1963) Researcher of the Belarusian Research Institute of Potato and Fruit and Vegetable Growing. In 1971 she defended her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Agricultural Sciences. Engaged in the selection of fruit crops. She participated in the Belarusian VDNKh, where she received the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Agriculture of the BSSR.
She was elected a deputy to the Supreme Soviet of the Byelorussian SSR of the 3rd convocation (1951–1955).
After retirement, she lived in the private sector of the Loshitsa neighborhood of the city of Minsk, where she died in 2015.
