VOZHANI - a village owned by Danilevich: households - 5, residents: 9 m. p., total 22 people .; Belongs to the Sokolovskys: households - 5, residents: 12 m. n., a total of 28 people .; Belongs to Kolyubakin: households - 3, inhabitants: 11 m. n., a total of 26 people .; Belavin belongs to: households - 11, inhabitants: 28 m. p., total 51 people [3]
According to the Zemstvo census of 1895:
VOZHANI - village, former Danilevich peasants: households - 3, inhabitants: 12 m. p., total 23 people .; former Sokolovsky: households - 7, residents: 20 m. n., a total of 37 people .; former Kolyubakin: households - 4, inhabitants: 15 m. n., a total of 24 people .; former Belavina: households - 14, residents: 29 m. p., total 60 people [3]
In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Sominsk volost of the 1st zemsky district of the 3rd camp of the Ustyuzhensky district of the Novgorod province .

From 1917 to 1918, the village was part of the Tarantaevsky volost of the Tikhvin district of the Novgorod province.
Since 1918, as part of the Cherepovets province .
Since 1924, as part of the Sominsk volost of Ustyuzhensky district.
Since 1927, as part of the Vozhansky village council of the Efimov district .
In 1928, the population of the village was 236 people [6] .

Geography
The village is located in the southeastern part of the district on the A114 highway ( Vologda - Novaya Ladoga ).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 30 km [17] .
The distance to the nearest railway station Efimovskaya is 34 km [8] .
The village is located on the eastern shore of Lake Vozhansky .
